Just a thought

Was reading through my bible (ill not lie I was just flicking through reading bits I enjoy) when I was coming across more and more scriptures illustrating gods greatness. I realised that I have been measuring greatness on my measure but Jesus offers us a different measure of greatness

In Mark 9:35. He says, (I paraphrase) that if you want to be great, you must be a servant. So maybe it’s not how many people that serve you that makes you great, but how many people you serve that makes you great.

Who am I serving? With what heart am I serving with? What are my motives behind it?
Im going to be asking myself when I next serve someone. I want to be someone that doesn't do it because I 'have' to or because its 'expected' but Im following in the footsteps of jesus who so selflessly served others.

I finished with more questions than I began with
